About our guaranteed next day by 1pm service:
This is sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. If your order is placed by 4pm, Monday to Friday for an in stock item and there are no issues with your credit card (we will always try and call you right away if there are) then we guarantee delivery the next day by 1pm. This includes delivery on a Saturday (but not Sunday).
If there is no delivery or delivery attempt made then we will issue a full delivery refund of £9.99. This guarantee applies to the £9.99 service and is valid for mainland UK only.
Memory cards and Accessories:
by first class post (1-2 days): £1.99
If you order a digital camera with any accessories then the total delivery charge will be £6.99 by Special Delivery, and £4.99 by Citylink. If you order more than one memory card or accessory (but no camera) then the total delivery will be just £1.95.

| How long does delivery take? | |  by Royal Mail Special Delivery
Items dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery are delivered in 1-2 working days before 1pm. (Over 95% of items are actually delivered the next working day).
by Citylink 2-4 days
In stock items are dispatched the same day if ordered before 5pm and delivered in 2-4 working days between 9am and 5pm.
by Citylink 5-7 days
In stock items are usually dispatched within 2-4 days and then delivered in 1-3 working days between 9am and 5pm.
by First Class post
Memory cards and accessories will be sent by first class post and delivered in 1-2 working days.

| When will my order be dispatched? | | If you order before 5pm Monday to Friday and the item is in stock then it will be dispatched the same day*. If you order after 5pm then your order will be dispatched the next working day.
* unless you select the Citylink 5-7 day service, in which case it will be dispatched within 2-4 working days.

| How will my goods be packaged? | |  Very well! We want to ensure that your goods arrive in pristine condition. The picture on the right shows our new packaging system for larger cameras. The strong film strip ensures that the camera can't move during transit so there is no danger of it getting damaged. |

| How can I track my order? | | As soon as your order has been dispatched, we will email you a tracking number so that you can track your parcel on either the Royal Mail or Citylink websites. |

| When will delivery take place? | |
For items sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery...
Royal Mail Special Delivery will only deliver before 1pm (apart from remote parts of North Scotland where deliveries take place upto 5pm). Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, with the exception of a small percentage being delivered on Saturday. (Royal Mail don't count this as part of their normal service, so if it's delivered on a Saturday then it's a bonus!)
For items sent by Citylink...
Deliveries take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

| What happens if I'm out when a delivery is attempted? | | For items sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery...The postman will put a card through your door and then take the parcel to your local post office sorting depot. You then have upto three weeks to collect your parcel - you just need to take along the card and proof of ID. For items sent by Citylink...The driver will put a delivery card through your door and take the parcel to your local City Link depot. You can find out where this is by entering your postcode at http://www.city-link.co.ukYou can then call this depot to arrange another delivery, or you have a week in which to go and collect it. If they try to deliver it for a second time and you are out, then you have to collect it from the depot - they won't try and deliver it for a third time. |

| Will the outside of the box give away the contents? | | No - there is nothing on the outside of the box which indicates that it has come from UK Digital Cameras. We have our return our address shown, but use UKDC as the company name. |

| What happens if my delivery gets lost? | | All items that we sent out are fully insured from the second they leave our warehouse, right upto the point they are signed for. In the unlikely event that a parcel should go missing, then as soon as the Royal Mail confirm they can't locate it we'll dispatch another one to you.

| Where do you deliver to? | | We deliver anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and BFPO addresses. Please add on an extra day for delivery if you live in the northern parts of Scotland or the Channel Islands.
Please note:
(1) Citylink delivery isn't a suitable option for Northern Ireland, Scottish Isles and the Channel Islands. Special Delivery is suitable for these locations.
(2) We don't export outside of the UK.
(3) For security reasons we're only able to ship to either the registered credit card address or a business address if payment is by credit card. If payment is by cheque or bank transfer then we're able to ship to any address as long as it's in the UK. Please call us on 0845 123 5345 if you'd like to pay by one of these methods.

| Who can sign for the parcel? | | Anyone at the delivery address can sign for the parcel. We are responsible for the parcel until a signature has been received at the delivery address. It's not possible to specify that the parcel is only signed for by you. If delivery is to a work place, we advise you to let the reception (or whoever normally takes in your deliveries) that you have a parcel on the way.
