Returns
If you buy a product from UK Digital Cameras, then you may return it within 14 days from the day you receive it, as long as the goods are in an as new condition and with all of the original packaging. We will replace, exchange or issue a full refund.
We require that goods are returned within 7 days of us providing you with return instructions. By law, we must refund you within 30 days of you notifying us that you wish to return your goods, however, we normally process returns the same day that we receive them.
I'd like to return a non-faulty item...
If you buy a product from UK Digital Cameras, then you may return it within 14 days from the day you receive it, as long as the goods are in an as new condition and with all of the original packaging. We will replace, exchange or issue a full refund for it as per your request (not including the delivery costs) - subject to these conditions:
- The goods must be returned with all accessories, packaging, instructions, etc and must be in as new, original unused condition.
- Digital products can only be accepted if the software is still sealed.
- You must return any free gifts which came with the product.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
What happens if my product is faulty...?
...within 30 days
If an item is faulty on arrival or develops a fault within the first 30 days, then send it back to us in the original box with all the accessories and we will replace it with a new one. Let us know how much it costs to return it and we'll refund you! Please note: most cameras are replaced within 48 hours of receipt, but it can take 7-10 days depending on both our stock, and if we have to send the camera to the manufacturer for examination.
...within 12 months
If the camera develops a fault within the first 12 months (and after the first 30 days) then send it back to the manufacturer (in the UK) and they will repair / replace it under the terms of the 12 month warranty.
If you prefer, you can return the faulty item to us, but we only forward it on to the relevant manufacturer. Once repaired it would be returned to us and then forwarded on to you. This whole process can add over a week to the whole process.
...within 24 months
(This applies to digital cameras only - all other products are supplied with a 1 year warranty unless otherwise stated). Simply return the camera to us and we will arrange a repair at our own expense and then return it to you.
