IMPORTANT! Please do not return anything to us prior to submitting a Return Request. See below.
I'd like to return a non-faulty item...
If you buy a product from UK Digital Cameras, then you may return it within 14 days from the day you receive it, as long as the goods are in an as new condition and with all of the original packaging. We will replace, exchange or issue a full refund for it as per your request - subject to these conditions:
- The goods must be returned with all accessories, packaging, instructions, etc and must be in as new, original unused condition.
- Digital products can only be accepted if the software is still sealed.
- You must return any free gifts which came with the product.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
I'd like to return a faulty item...
...within 30 days:
If an item is faulty on arrival or develops a fault within the first 30 days, then send it back to us in the original box with all the accessories and we will replace it with a new one. Most cameras are replaced within 48 hours of receipt, but it can take 7-10 days depending on both our stock, and if we have to send the camera to the manufacturer for examination.
Please note: (1) If your camera is faulty or damaged on arrival you must report it to us within 48 hours of receipt. (2) Any form of user damage is not covered under warranty. (3) Items returned that are deemed to be user damaged may incur a manufacturers handling fee of up to £35. (4) Waterproof cameras will only be replaced immediately if returned within 14 days.
...within 12 months:
If the camera develops a fault within the first 12 months (and after the first 30 days) then send it back to the manufacturer (in the UK) and they will repair / replace it under the terms of the 12 month warranty.
Please note: You DO NOT need to submit a Returns Request with us if you are sending your camera directly to the manufacturer. Please submit your request directly via their website.
...and I purchased an extended warranty (2, 3 or 5 years):
If your item is within your extended warranty period please submit a Return Request and we will reply with returns instructions. Provided the camera has not been damaged or is unfixable your item will then be repaired and returned to you. This process may take up to 6 weeks.
