The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 is the replacement of the Panasonic GF1 and is currently the newest addition to the Panasonic G range however there have been a couple of new upgrades. The GX1 features a 16.0 megapixel Live MOS sensor, a touch screen interface, an impressive ISO range of 160-28,000, full HD video recording (AVCHD or MP4 format), continuous shooting up to 20fps (at a lower resolution), a stereo mic, a comfortable hand grip, an electronic gauge level and four function (Fn) buttons which can be personalized to suit your needs. Combined with this advanced technology is the advanced AF system with high speed, high accuracy and touch operation. The Panasonic GX1 also packs a near pop-up flash, manual control and a hotshoe to attach external accessories such as an electronic viewfinder and external flash. Small enough to fit in a jacket pocket, the Panasonic GX1 is the ideal partner for keen photographers looking to get sharp results and take that first step into the mirrorless market.
